Do I need medical records to get approved?

Will my employer or insurance company find out I have a medical marijuana card?
No. Your HIPAA-compliant medical marijuana records are completely private. Only you, your doctor, and the state registry can see them - your employer and insurance company have zero access. Your medical cannabis certification is treated like any other private medical record. The only exception is federal jobs (TSA, DEA) or commercial driving licenses where cannabis is a federal disqualifier, but that's not a privacy issue.
What happens if the state rejects my application?
