Summary With over 20 years of experience as a physician, educator, researcher, and innovator, I am passionate about advancing the field of medical cannabis and improving the quality of life for patients who can benefit from this natural and holistic treatment option. As the Chief Executive Officer at Doctors of Cannabis, I lead a team of compassionate and knowledgeable doctors who provide personalized and evidence-based medical cannabis recommendations and education to patients across Oklahoma, Indiana, and West Virginia. Prior to joining Doctors of Cannabis in 2017, I served as an Associate Program Director, Chief Quality Officer, Researcher, Medical Director, and Faculty Member at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center and its affiliates, where I contributed to the training and development of the next generation of internal medicine doctors, the enhancement of patient safety and quality improvement initiatives, the discovery and dissemination of new knowledge on Sjogrens syndrome, and the delivery of comprehensive and patient- centered care to a diverse and underserved population. I also hold board certifications in Internal Medicine and Ophthalmology, and have published multiple articles and papers on various topics in medicine and biochemistry. I am honored to have received several awards and recognitions for my academic and professional achievements, including Graduate of Outstanding Distinction, Scholar, and Award for Exceptional Biochemistry Research Paper.
